Bernard and his Firescience team went above, and beyond, when it came to installing my new Pyro luxury stainless steel braai. They encountered difficulties after removing the previous braai and had to engage a bricklaying team in order to sort out the installation. Bernard was in constant contact with me and updated me of progress throughout the process. I really found Firescience’s responsiveness and willingness to move out of their comfort zone in order to ensure they have a satisfied client and perfectly installed braai to be amazing. Having had one of their first stainless steel braais installed at my previous house some 10 years ago, I have also found the advances they have made technologically, very pleasing indeed. I recently had a Heeta 950 double sided fireplace installed by Firescience. I had very specific size constraints, and none of their standard units fitted my requirements. It was then that I realised that this company has a can-do attitude, willing to work with the client to meet their needs. Kudos to Tich, who from the outset answered all my questions promptly, arrived on time for the quote appointment, and kept me well informed throughout the process. The item had to be custom made, with minor changes to dimensions, and cowl material specification. All was done within one week from the first interaction, and the highly skilled installation team performed the installation flawlessly within two hours. We recently had a fireplace installed at our office through Firescience and honestly, it was such a great experience from start to finish. Alecia was amazing, she kept in touch throughout the whole process, always friendly, helpful, and on top of things. It really felt like she cared, which you don’t often get these days. After everything was done, Bernard (the owner) gave us a call to make sure we knew exactly how to use the fireplace properly that personal touch really stood out. We work with a lot of suppliers in the construction industry, and Firescience is hands down one of the best we’ve dealt with. Bought a 1200mm stainless steel braai from Bernard about 4 years ago, which I shipped to install in the UK. Was only able to start planning the install this year, as our previous properties didn't allow for it. The plan was to use the house current chimney and flue, bit UK house design dont allow for it, so got in touch with Bernard for professional advice on how best to manage it, given the concerns around the sizing of the flue and having a 350mm opening at the top of the braai which would have had to be reduced to a 220mm flue. After 10 years of excellent service my pool heater had a problem. Consulting Bernard at Firescience I was requested to bring it in for them to access. The only time convenient was on a Friday before the long weekend in September. Upon dropping it off, the collection date was arranged for the following week after the long weekend. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call two hours after dropping the unit off, to inform me my heater has been fixed and it is ready for collection. Service like this is hard to find these days and I must congratulate Bernard and his team for their extra-ordinary commitment making life easier for others. ~ Erhardt V

There products are top quality and their service is excellent. I had the distinct pleasure of dealing with Ryan Engela and Bernard Steyl at Firescience. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable and provided great advice on the various units and what was most suitable for my apartment. I was particularly impressed with the quality of information that is available on the Firescience website and the professionalism of every representative whom I dealt with. I unfortunately had to cancel my order after a protracted delay due to body corporate and trustee issues and my deposit was returned to me without question. I am very satisfied with the services of the Firescience team from order to installation. Tich was very professional in planning the custom manufacturing of the back exit fireplaces to fit our existing spaces in the house and ensured that the order was manufactured and delivered in 3 weeks as promised. We recently had a fireplace installed by Firescience and couldn't be happier with the service. Tich was fantastic during the sales and quotation process, patiently answering all my questions about different units. On installation day, we were still unsure, so Tich arranged to bring two units for us to see how they would look in the space before installation. Wiseman and Zac did an excellent job with the installation, helping us decide between the two units. Despite the units being heavy, they handled them with ease. What a great experience as a customer, ordered a wallart freestanding braai from Firescience, unfortunately it was damaged by the couriers; thankfully Allen and team jumped in straight away and shipped over a new one. They managed the discussion with the couriers, were completely committed to sorting me out and passionate about getting me braai 'ng over XMas. Great service from start to finish! Can highly recommend Firescience. I had been researching for a while on a pellet fed fire place. Contacted Josh who is extremely knowledgeable and super helpful. He even did drawings for me to get approval from our estate, answered every single question I had. I personally feel he went above and beyond for me.
